On Saturday evening last, three boys who played in Cumann na mBunscol finals back in November, were presented with medals at half-time in the Kerry v Dublin NFL game in Croke Park.

These medals were presented in recognition of outstanding performances by individuals in the finals and Reece Lamphiere, a 6th class pupil in Scoil Mhuire, was one of the recipients of a medal.

Reece made an immense contribution to Scoil Mhuire’s drive to Croker, and anybody who witnessed his performance in the semi-final thriller against St Davids, will not be surprised that he received this reward. Reece plays his club football with Westmanstown Gaels.
