Each door will be allocated a letter, and with ten doors available to us we will be able to safely disperse the children as they enter the school building in the morning, and as they exit it for breaktimes.

This year we made up 173 Christmas Shoeboxes. This is a record for Scoil Mhuire. So well done to all the boys and girls who packed and wrapped all of the shoeboxes.

This year the boys and girls of Scoil Mhuire put together 214 Christmas shoeboxes. This is our biggest amount ever, so well done to everyone involved.

On Friday 17th December fourth class staged their performance of The Tale of Wali Dad, a folk tale from the Indian/Pakistani tradition. The theme of the play was generosity and how it was possible for Wali Dad, a simple peasant, to be a “King in his Heart”. The children enjoyed the rehearsals as much as the performance itself and many thanks to all the parents for the beautiful costumes and for coming to see us on the day.
