Dear parents, all classes will return to school next Tuesday, August 31st, 2021. Similar to last September, we will ask the children who are coming to school on foot, by scooter or bicycle to use 3 different entrances, depending on the initial of their family name. The one exception to this is that all children in Junior Infants will enter the school grounds by Gate 2.

For the arrival of pupils, we will use the 3 pedestrian gates as follows;

The drive-thru will operate as normal, but only children can get out of the cars. Please ensure they get out of the car on the front passenger side. There will be staff on duty monitoring gates, doors, the drive thru, the yard and corridors ensuring children get to their classroom safely.

No parents are allowed onto the school premises in the morning time. The children will have a window of 15 minutes (8.45am to 9am) to enter the school grounds. Please do your best to enable your child to arrive at school in that time window. They will go directly to their classroom where their class teacher will be waiting for them from 8.45am. There will be hand sanitizer at each of the pedestrian gates.

Each class group will be given a specific door or entry point to come into the building – pictures of these and their designated classes will be posted later today, along with information about the going home times.
