Teaching Staff:
Details of classes and teachers for September have been posted up on the notice board in the yard. Ms Brennan will not be returning to Scoil Mhuire in September. She has secured a permanent appointment in a school closer to her home. We wish Ms Brennan the very best of luck and we thank her sincerely for her dedication and hard work .
School Premises:
The school building and school grounds are out of bounds during the summer holidays. Apart from a summer camp for children and some courses for teachers, no unauthorised persons should be in the school grounds.
6th Class:
Our senior pupils graduated from Scoil Mhuire on Wednesday 25th June. This will be our 25th graduation group and they will be sorely missed. They were fortunate to have been in Scoil Mhuire during the transition to the new building. The extra space has been a godsend and the childrens’ behaviour has been exemplary. We hope that they are as happy in their new schools as they have been here and we wish them all the very best as they embark on a new and exciting phase of their lives.
Croke Park Programme
While our camogie team did not manage to bring back the Corn Nua, they battled bravely and did themselves proud. We have just been informed that the souvenir match programme which was put together for the final was one of the prize winners at the Cumann na mBunscol awards. Each member of the panel will be given a copy and there will also be one for each contributor to the programme. A special word of thanks to Mr Roche who put the material together at very short notice, and to Marie and Kerry in the office for organising the printing.
Sport
Another very busy year on the sporting field culminated with our gaelic football mini leagues which were held in June. 180 boys and girls took part over four glorious days in June.
2014/2015 saw us entering teams in hurling, camogie and boys’ and girls’ football. We sent 40 children to Santry for athletics and 78 5th and 6th class children took part in our internal basketball leagues.
Jerseys
If there are any school jerseys lying around at home can you send them in to us please.

A sincere thank you to the members of our Parents’ Association and Board of Management for your Trojan voluntary work during the year. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

To all parents for your wonderful support and co-operation during the year. Anything we have asked of you, you have delivered in spades. In particular, the help we received during “Aladdin” went above and beyond the call of duty. The support we got in providing transport for school teams was fantastic. The staff would like to acknowledge this sense of co-operation . Long may it continue.
Summer Holidays
School closes for the summer holidays at 12 noon on Friday 27th June. We hope you all enjoy the months of July and August .
