It has come to my attention that a case of Slapped Cheek Syndrome has surfaced in the Junior Infant Class.

This is a viral infection with no specific medical treatment needed.  Pregnant women are at risk to this virus and should contact their G.P.

Preventative measurses include hand washing frequently.  Please speak to your child about the importance of these measures.

If you have any concerns or think your child may be affected please contact your GP.
