Scoil Mhuire 3-6
St Patrick’s Glencullen 1-2

Our senior hurlers put in an excellent performance in Tymon Park to qualify for the Corn Uí Néill semi final .
Scoil Mhuire dominated from the start but some wayward shooting and some brilliant goalkeeping by the Glencullen keeper kept the score down. We led by 1-4 to 0-0 at half time but only for a couple of brilliant saves by Charlie Caseley it could have been much closer. The Lucan boys got their radar working at half time and started to put some daylight between the sides.A cracking goal from Eoin Mahony gave us some breathing space and despite conceding a late goal, Scoil Mhuire held on for a deserved win. Charlie Caseley and Mark Gormley were both excellent in goal and outfield. Gareth Kennedy scored his first senior point for Scoil Mhuire and Charlie Keher and Luke Finnerty gave a superb exhibition of hurling at midfield. Philip Kane and Cian Buckley were rock solid in defence where Aaron Meaney also shone. Up front, Dean White, Ben O Toole and Adam Mc Garry worked their socks off. Conall Chambers, Seán Egan and James Kebana made a great contribution to the team while Alex Hickey combined skill and bravery in a battling performance. Brendan Ruddy was his usual busy beaver self up front and Glen Conroy, Diarmuid Keher and Glen Conroy all showed up well when introduced. Robert Hazley put in a great stint at full forward.
