6th Sep 2012

This is the time of year when our school teams get back into action.
We will be fielding three teams in Cumann na mBunscol competitions. Each team is kitted out in the school colours and we have a number of sets of jerseys to cater for this.
Unfortunately, over the past two or three years, children have been careless about looking after their jersey. Each player is supplied with a jersey for the duration of the competition. When the competition is over he/she should return the jersey to the school. We have two white sets of jerseys, both of which have been used for girls’ football and camogie for the past few years. There are a number of jerseys missing from both sets and we need to get them back. Will any girl who has played football or camogie for Scoil Mhuire over the past few years, please have a look at home to see if one of the jerseys is lying around.
It may be in a drawer. on a hanger (maybe underneath another item of clothing), at the bottom of the laundry basket or maybe even in your shed or garage. Any past pupil who is reading this should also have a look around because some of the jerseys have been missing for quite some time.
Both sets have “Scoil Mhuire” printed on the fromt of the jersey.
There are also some jerseys missing from our boys’ set. (Not the new ones which were purchased for Croke Park). The boys’ jerseys are maroon with a light blue hoop.
If you come across a jersey please return it to the school.
