What a fantastic four weeks it has been for Lucan Sarsfields. Three division one Féile successes and two more cups for the boys’A and B teams last weekend as they captured divisions 2 and 7, ensuring that an extension will have to be built on to their trophy cabinet. Scoil Mhuire past pupils were well represented on both football teams. On the B team, Charlie Caseley, Harry Day, Cormac Porter and Eoin Mahony were to the fore; a vital penalty save by Eoin in the semi was crucial in ensuring his team would be playing in the final on Sunday Morning.
Then on Sunday afternoon, five more Féile medals were won by Charlie Keher, Brendan Ruddy, Ben O’Toole, Cian Hyland and captain fantastic, Mark Gormley.
Well done to all involved with these teams and a special word of congratulations to Johnny Mc Caffrey for his trojan work in all of the schools in Lucan.
