Benz and Hadassah left us this week. Benz is gone to Australia and Hadassah has gone to another Scoil Mhuire. We were sad to see them go.
On Wednesday, we did an Oil and Water experiment. We learned that oil is less dense than water.
On Thursday, the school had a skipping display in the hall. Kevin, Faye, Laoibhse, Niamh, Zoe, Holly and Alex O’T skipped from our class. We had so much fun.
We had a Hallowe’en English and Maths test. They were not too hard.
We are reading a new book called Get Ready for Second Grade, Amber Brown. So far, it is good.
We made an Irish book for Hallowe’en. Ms Madigan’s class came over to our class to hear our books and they read their Hallowe’en books to us. Their books were very good and they read very well.
We have a week off school next week for Hallowe’en.

I miss Benz and Hadassah. Skipping is fun 🙂 I am really looking forward to my week off!
I thought this week that the skipping was the most fun. I am looking forward to Halloween. I miss Hadassah and Benz a lot and I hope they send us a postcard to keep in touch. I hope we do the skipping again next year.
It was fun having a Halloween test but I really loved the skipping. Benz had his birthday party before he left and I miss him. I will miss Hadassah too.
