Congratulations to Lucan Sarsfields senior footballers who gained promotion to Division One last Sunday when they defeated Skerries Harps in the promotion play-off final . Well done in particular to all our past pupils and to our coach Johnny Mc Caffrey who were part of the playing squad and to Niall O Keefe who was an integral part of the backroom team on the day.

We were delighted to hear that Siobhán Grimes, a past pupil of Scoil Mhuire, has been included in the Dublin Senior Camogie Squad for 2016. Siobhán was a star player for our school teams 8 or 9 years ago , and she was part of the boys’ hurling team which qualified for successive hurling finals in Parnell Park and Croke Park in 2006 and 2007.
