Gaelscoil Naomh Padraig – 1-3
That’s three consecutive victories for our junior hurling team who now go into their final league game with a chance of finishing top of their group.
Best on the day were Liam Dunphy, Sean Treanor, Darlington Odia, Alan Munnelley, Jack Hyland and Liam Dunphy.
Senior Hurling
Scoil Mhuire 3-3
Holy Trinity, Donaghmede – 4-4
Scoil Mhuire were desperately unlucky not to progress to the semi-final yesterday as they were beaten by Holy Trinity after extra time. The crowd in Airlie Heights were treated to an excellent game of hurling as both sides really went for it from the off.
Scoil Mhuire looked like they were going through when they held a five point lead with ten minutes remaining however, Holy Trinity never gave up and forced extra time.
The Donaghmede boys had the momentum going into extra time and they outscored our lads by four points to book their place in the semi final.
Best on the day were Daniel Kane, Darlington Odia, Niall Higgins, Kevin Gormley and Robert Keher.
Well done to all involved.
