Well done to our junior hurlers who had a good win in their first match against local rivals Gaelscoil Eiscir Riada. Scoil Mhuire fielded a very experienced team, with all players having played senior this year.
Ben O’Toole, Mark Gormley, Charlie Casely, Conall Chambers, Stephen McInerney, Adam McGarry, Robert Hazely, Seán Egan, Eoin Mahony and Dean White were excellent in a very good team performance. Well done to James Kebana who played his first full hurling game and did really well.
Charlie Keher, Cian Buckley, Luke Finnerty and Philip Kane were given a bit of a rest ahead of next Monday’s crucial shield semi final.
