Despite being without their manager, Mr Roche and their inspirational midfielder, Cian Buckley, Scoil Mhuire put in a tremendous performance in Griffeen Park and were very unlucky to lose narrowly to the Palmerstown boys. Scoil Mhuire took up where they had left off the previous week and put in a great effort throughout the match . Last week’s stars continued to shine and they were joined this week by Luke Finnerty, Jack Butler, Lachlan Hill and Ian Duffy. Eoin Higgins too had a great game in the full forward line. Sean Conroy, Jack Fleming and Kingsley impressed when introduced and left Mr Roche with selection problems for the next match. Two outstanding performances stood out-Leigh Harmon, in goal and Ishaan Rawat in the full back line. A special mention for captain Evan Hallowe’ed who has played eight matches for the school team in the past two weeks.

With their two toughest matches out of the way , Scoil Mhuire are confident of picking up a few wins in the next few games.
