Last week a group of children from 3rd to 6th class went to the Morton Stadium, Santry for a special inter-schools event. In the morning the children got to try a range of track and field events from high jump and pole vault to hurdles and long jump. There were some fun novelty events too such as Space Hopper sprints! In the afternoon, the children took part in sprints and relays. We had some success with a bronze medal of Sophie Maycock in the 3rd class sprints and bronze medals for our 3rd and 5th class boys’ relay teams. Have a look at the photos below!
