As the basketball leagues draw to a very exciting conclusion, the hurling season is about to get underway. With a very bad weather forecast for the rest of the week, we will wait till next week to set the ball rolling . The Inter-schools’ senior hurling league will start after St Patrick’s Day so we have just over a month to prepare. With most of last year’s senior team eligible once again this year we are looking forward to a successful season . The senior hurling team will be made up of boys from 4th, 5th and 6th. We will have a trial game next Tuesday (11th) at big lunch, weather permitting. Anybody interested should start practising their hurling skills.
There will also be a junior hurling league (mainly 3rd/4th/5th) This will take place after Easter.
