Our senior hurling team were beaten yesterday, Thursday, March 22 in a closely fought battle in Tallaght against Scoil Santain. The score was 0-3 to 0-1, and our roving reporter, Áine (pictured with clipboard) of 3rd class tells us that if there were a few more minutes in the game we could have won it. Best for Scoil Mhuire was Cian O’Sullivan, Oisín O’Brien and Eoin Higgins, with Philip Kane delivering a Man of the Match performance. Áine informs us that Evan Hollowed scored our only point, and at halftime the scores were level at 0-1 each. Áine said that Scoil Mhuire were really good, but we just couldn’t get the scores.
