Scoil Santain 3-1
Scoil Mhuire 1-1

Despite coming out on the wrong side of the scoreline, the players and supporters of Scoil Mhuire left Croker with their heads held high. In a tight, tense, low scoring match, the confined spaces prevented our skill merchants from displaying their full talents. Full credit to Scoil Santain who adapted better to the conditions and got their scores at crucial times. Scoil Mhuire never gave up despite going in at half time two goals down They laid siege to the Scoil Santain goal for long periods of the match, but a combination of bad luck and some brilliant defensive work by the opposition’s full back and goalkeeper kept our heroes out. An opportunist goal by Seán O Reilly looked like it might turn the tide but it wasn’t to be . In fairness to Scoil Santain, they sealed the deal with a brilliant solo goal by their very talented centre forward.
Time eventually ran out for the Lucan team but each and every one of them will carry the memories of May 9th with them forever.
In a great team performance, special mention goes to Cian Buckley, Eoin Gormley, Evan Hollowed, Eoghan Gately, Adam Stanford and Eoin Higgins.
