After the disappointment of Tuesday’s defeat to Scoil Áine, Scoil Mhuire’s girls bounced back in difficult conditions to beat GSNP in Lucan Sarsfields on Wednesday.This was the girls’ first win of the season and the final whistle was greeted with jubilation by players and parents alike. Best for Scoil Mhuire over the two games were Katie Wisdom, Aoife Woods, Isabella Fay, Sophie Mulcahy and Rebecca Byrne. In truth all the girls were heroes (heroines? ) and Mr And Mrs Gately’s after match treats were well deserved. The victory was thanks to the huge effort the girls have put in under the expert coaching of Ms Lowry . Well done to one and all.
