The Cumann na mBunscol (Primary School) gaelic football competitions will be starting up very shortly. Scoil Mhuire will be represented by three teams-a boys’ senior team, a boys’ junior team and a girls’ team. Trials are taking place this week and the teachers will try to include as many children as possible when selecting the teams. It is a great privilege to represent the school and we know how much it means to the children.

The games will generally be played on the following days.

Junior Boys: Tuesdays (Mainly 4th and 5th)

Girls: Wednesdays (Mainly 4th to 6th)

Senior Boys: Thursdays (Mainly 5th and 6th).

We have always been very fortunate to receive fantastic help from parents in bringing children to and from matches and this year, again , we will be calling on your support.
