On Friday September 25th Scoil Mhuire’s healthy eating fortnight culminated with its annual event ‘Fruity Friday’.
Thanks to fruit donations from Supervalue, Tesco and Mick’s vegetable shop (at the back of Tesco) along with a super response from the children bringing in fruit for the occasion, the day was a resounding success! A big thank you to the Parents association who turned out in large numbers to wash, chop and prepare the fruit for a display in the main hall.
The children really enjoyed the day, visiting the hall, class by class to sample fruit they had never tasted before.
