Over the last four weeks since we’ve started the Easter Egg – Mobile Phone competition the children of Scoil Mhuire have brought 259 phones! A marvellous achievement. In the months before the competition begun 200 phones were brought in, giving the school a total of over 450 phones. Each phone we collect goes to the Meningitis Research Foundation and Scoil Mhuire receive €3.50 for every phone.

Tension was building on the yard today just after little break as the countdown to the big Easter egg draw drew to close. There were two winners – Hannah Geoghegan of Ms Burns’ 2nd class & Ben O’Toole of Ms Sherlock’s 1st class. Congratulations to both of them and happy eating!
