Scoil Mhuire played out a thrilling draw with Clonburris in Round Towers all weather pitch on Thursday.
For the second week in a row, the team banged in 5 goals but for much of the match they had to defend heroically as Clonburris laid siege to our goal. A last minute rocket which flew past Luke Finnerty gave our Clondalkin opponents a deserved share of the spoils. Man of the match Liam Masterson was the scoring hero with 2 goals .Dylan Knowles was excellent in defence and Mark Gormley gave his usual whole hearted display. Well done to Eoin Mahony who was winning his first senior cap and to our other goalie Luke Finnerty who pulled off some outstanding saves in a busy second half.
Our last group match next week is against our neighbours Scoil Áine who top the table with 2 wins out of 2.
