This year we will be once again taking part in the Cross Country series of races, organised by South Dublin County Council. We will be bringing a group of approximately 50 children from 3rd to 6th class to a series of races in Griffeen Park . These races will take place on three Wednesdays in February, March and April. They are held during school hours. The distances covered are tailored to the ages of the children.  Children will only race against children from other schools who are in the same class level.

We will be holding trials in school on this Friday, 22nd January,  after school from 2.30 to 3.15. ( not Wednesday, as the children were told in school)

Any child interested in taking part may wear in a school tracksuit on Friday. It would be advisable to bring old runners too.
