On Wednesday, 7th February children from 3rd-6th classes took part in the South Dublin Schools’ Cross Country competition. The competition was held in Griffeen Valley park and involved 18 different schools from the Lucan area.
Despite the cold weather all of our runners performed well on the day. Every child competed in their respective races and many produced excellent runs to secure competition points for the school team.
2 further days of competition will take place at the same venue on Friday, 21st March and Wednesday, 18th April. Feel free to come down and support Scoil Mhuire’s athletes between 11 and 12:30 on these days.
