Just a reminder re Cross Country Trials which will be held on Friday 22nd Jan immediately after school . Trials are open to all children from 3rd to 6th class. School Tracksuit may be worn on Friday if your child is taking part.

For those children who qualify to represent Scoil Mhuire,the races will take place on Wednesday February 3rd , Wednesday March 2nd and Wednesday April 6th, in Griffeen Valley Park at 11am. Children will be back in school by 1pm each day.  The distances for each class group are as follows.

• 3^rd Class 300 meters up to 350meters
• 4^th Class 400 meters up to 450 meters
• 5^th Class 500 meters up to 600 meters
• 6^th Class 600 meters up to 700 meters

It is advisable to wear old running shoes.
