After an interesting season Scoil Mhuire’s participation in Cumann na mBunscoil came to an end for this year on Wednesday last when the girls were defeated by St Benedicts, Ongar in a very competitive quarter final.
The girls showed great heart and determination throughout the season and were very dedicated to coming training. As a result huge improvements were seen in the girls skill levels. Leadership was shown by our sixth class girls, Bevin Kelleher, Caitríona Chamber, Emma Louise Farrell, Abigail Domfe while our new girls in 3rd class show lots of potential for the coming years.
Girls that played camogie this year were Bevin Kelleher, Caitríona Chamber, Emma Louise Farrell, Abigale Domfe, Maria Furmaniak, Méabh Egan, Clodagh McDonnell, Sara Lovett, Katie Hickey, Ella Marten, Chloe Kavanagh, Anna Capcarrere, Aoife Murtagh, Niamh Roche, Gracious Momoh, Erin Cooper, Mia Farrell, Holly McCarthy, Brooke Lamphiere, Leah Capcarrere, Annabelle Nabulele, Katelyn Murtagh, Elise Muldowney, Rebecca Kelly, Freya Colgan, Alex Foley, Katie Clarke Carrie, Maeve Ruddy and Róisín Joyce.
