Scoil Mhuire 2-0
St John the Evangelist 2-0

Our camogie team got off to a very good start when they played out an exciting 2-2 draw against St John the Evangelist in Lucan Sarsfields on Wednesday.
After going two goals behind, Scoil Mhuire staged a brave comeback and were level at half time . The second half was end-to-end but no further scoring took place so both sides were happy with the result.
With 21 girls togging out, Ms Ryan and Ms Lowry were kept busy making sure everyone got a game and every girl tried her heart out. Sinead Keogh and Isabella Fay were tremendous in defence.
Erica O Reilly and Eyum Ocheola-Oki had great games around the middle and there was a player of the match performance from Carla Delmar who seemed to be in three places at once, displaying a wonderful mixture of determination and skill.
The other highlight was the performance of the 4th class girls, most of whom were playing their first match for the school.
All the hard work being put in by Ms Ryan and Ms Lowry is certainly paying off and the girls are looking forward eagerly to their next match.
