Hard luck to the boys soccer team who lost out to St Patrick’s, Corduff in their league final on Wednesday. St. Patrick’s were fully deserving of their victory and Scoil Mhuire would like to congratulate them on their achievement.

Our lads can be very proud of themselves as they never gave up from start to finish. Well done to all involved but especially our sixth class boys (Adam McNulty, Adam Harrington, Jamie Harrington, Aaron Geoghegan, Krish Rawat, Zac O’Sullivan, Noah Shiels, Seán Murphy, Calum Byrne, Sam Kennedy and Sean Doran) who represented Scoil Mhuire for the last time.

A special mention to Adam McNulty, Emmet Kelleher and Calum Byrne who each received awards for player of the year, most improved player and top goal scorer respectively.

I would like to thank all the parents who gave lifts to games and supported the lads this year. It really is greatly appreciated.

Sam’s goal!
