Scoil Mhuire boys’ senior team followed the example of the girls’ team by qualifying for the semi final of their competition with a comprehensive win over their northside opponents. After conceding the first score , the Lucan boys proceeded to dominate matters and left the manager with some selection headaches when he sits down to pick his semi final team. This was a very good team performance and the boys used the massive space on the Griffeen pitch to good effect. Birthday boy, and captain for the day, Eoghan Daly led by example and others to shine were Joey O Sullivan, Alex Hickey and Daniel Kane. All the substitutes who came on put up their hand for a starting place next day out. The semi final will be next Thursday, 15th of October. Opposition and venue to be confirmed.
