Scoil Mhuire is having a “Blue Day” tomorrow Friday 30th November. As you may know we are working towards our third green flag, which is the water flag.

Children are to wear blue clothing from head to toe (if possible) and to bring in €1 for the charity “Wells for Zoe”, who work in Northern Malawi, focussing on enabling the rural poor to access clean drinking water.

The purpose of “Blue Day is to make the children aware of how fortunate they are to have clean, safe, running water and that they should use it sparingly.
