Welcome to Scoil Mhuire’s Active Schools webpage!

Firstly, a huge well done to Kate Fitzpatrick (2nd class) and Alexander Duggan (4th class) who were the winners of our school slogan competition and the brains behind our official Active School slogan.

‘Football, skipping, whatever we play! Scoil Mhuire is active EVERYDAY!’

Here in Scoil Mhuire, we love keeping fit and we try to make physical activity a part of our school life everyday! This year, we hope to become even MORE active and in turn, receive our first ever Active Schools Flag.

Our Active School Committee is made up of 2 pupils from every class all the way from 2nd-6th. Have a look and see our first active ambassadors:
