Ms Reilly’s 5th Class appeared on RTE’s kids news programme ‘News 2 Day’ yesterday (8th March). The crew had came to visit the school after receiving an e-mail from Lauryn telling them about our poetry book launch and Paddy’s retirement. Unfortunately they couldn’t make the event but they came out a few days later to visit the class, look at the poetry book and hear some of the poems. They interviewed a number of the children about their poems and they interviewed Paddy too.
