We are working on a new calendar sheet for November. It is a little bit harder but we are getting used to it. We learned all about winter. We learned that there is no such thing as a mistletoe tree. We learned that the Christmas tree is called a Spruce tree and its needles are really little leaves.
We learned a new prayer. It is called Angel of God. We started learning our songs for our Christmas play. It is called Rock the Baby. We are excited to do it.
Our school is trying to get another Green Flag for water. We listened to a water piece of music called The Aquarium by Camille Saint Saens. We created an underwater display in the hall. We used oil pastels and marbling.
We are reading a story called The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark. It is really funny.
We did basketball in PE. It was a bit tricky. We didn’t know all the passes you have to do.
We went to computers and we played maths games.
It was an exciting week in 2nd class.
