Scoil Mhuire 3-4
Scoil Lorcáin, Palmerstown 0-1

Our junior hurlers produced a performance to match the brilliant weather when overcoming a brave Scoil Lorcáin side in Glenaulin Park. With both teams missing some key players, it gave an opportunity for others to shine. Eoin O Mahony dragged himself out of his sick bed and was rewarded with a brilliant second half goal.
The three musketeers from fifth class, Dylan Knowles, Kingsley Okakpu and Jack Butler were outstanding, while captain Evan Hollowed’s skill and strength at centre back repelled many attacks.
Man of the match was Cian Buckley. Despite the fact that he was missing his regular defensive partner, Philip Kane, Cian was rock solid at full back and gave his keeper, Luke Finnerty great protection.
Two matches remain and if Scoil Mhuire maintain this form, it will take a good team to beat them.
