Ms Reilly and 3 of the green school committee members went to Croke Park today to receive Scoil Mhuire’s 3rd green flag, which is the water flag. They had their photo taken with the green mascots, got to walk around Croke Park, were awarded with the flag and watched all the other schools get theirs …

Earlier today in the school hall the children from Mr. Roche’s 6th class set up the laptops and showed off their 2-D games to everyone from 3rd to 6th class. 6th class had been learning about 2-D shapes recently and were challenged to put all that knowledge into a computer game; everybody seemed pretty impressed …

Award-winning chef Keith Kenny visited Scoil Mhuire a few days ago to give the children of 6th class a cookery demonstration.
